Join us for an inspiring event focused on circularity and the degrowth economy, organised in celebration of ABN AMRO's 200th anniversary and as a challenge of the years to come.

Dit programma is enkel fysiek te bezoeken op de locatie. Mogelijk is het programma wel later online terug te kijken via circl.nl/terugkijken of via ons YouTube-kanaal. Meld je aan.

This event is hosted by the Future Generations Board (FGB) in collaboration with the Sustainability Centre of Excellence (SCoE) and Young ABN AMRO (YAA), with the goal to foster the interest of future generations in today’s decision-making and accelerate sustainable development at ABN AMRO.

The focus of our day, circularity and degrowth economy, is an essential step towards a sustainable economy that respects ecological limits and challenges the traditional focus on continuous economic growth, and conserves resources for future generations.

Featured Speakers

Paul Schenderling is an economist, writer, and speaker who offers expert advice on social and ecological issues from an economic perspective. His mission is to foster a happier Netherlands that thrives within the Earth’s carrying capacity. Paul articulates a positive vision for a post-growth economy and encourages us to think along in generating innovative solutions on this topic.

Manon van Ginkel is a young professional working at Copper8, a consulting and research firm dedicated to driving systemic change and advancing the circular economy. The central topic is ‘work is value: how do we view value and how do we create it?’ Her aim is to realign financial value with long-term societal value.
