Integrating natural values and resource efficiency into corporate reports is a crucial step for companies aiming to comply with new European regulations and to reduce their impact on nature. Join us at the ABN AMRO headquarters in Amsterdam where we delve into the first round of annual reports incorporating these elements.
This program is organized by Sustainalab (initiative of University of Amsterdam) and Circl Movement (initiative of ABN AMRO).
There will be video recordings made during this program.
The first annual reports in accordance with the CSRD will be published in March 2025. During the Week of the Circular Economy, we will closely examine this publication cycle. How are nature (E4), which focuses on environmental impact, and the circular economy (E5), which promotes resource efficiency, represented in these reports? What insights can we derive from them? And how can we leverage these insights to drive positive impact?
In this session, speakers and the audience will explore the CSRD through concrete examples and practical experiences. You will discover how many companies have reported on nature (E4) and the circular economy (E5), what they have included in their reports, and what lessons can be drawn from them. Additionally, we will consider the impact of the Omnibus directive, which aims to enhance coherence in EU financial legislation.
