Campaigning for cleaner transport in Europe
Greenbuzz is proud to announce Lucy Gilliam as our speaker of this event. With here, there will be a dialogue about sustainable mobility in Europe. Lucy works as an Aviation and Shipping Officer at Transport & Environment (T&E), a Brussel based NGO dedicated to the promotion and campaigning for smarter and cleaner transport in Europe and globally.
Lucy is pushing EU member states and key stakeholders to move towards cleaner and more sustainable transport policies. What does being successful in this arena mean to her? What are the challenges she is facing in her job? During this talk Lucy will give us a unique insight into the works of an environmental lobbyist and report from the frontline with EU governments on transportation policy. We will learn about past and future projects and hear about Lucy’s experience in having a real impact, that is getting the job done. After the talk, we will have an interactive session where we focus on your own sustainability ambitions in the organisation you work in. What do you need to make an impact and how can you help others doing the same?
Share, network & connect
What can you expect during this evening? Next to our speaker we will have a couple of short networking rounds, during which you have the opportunity to connect with other like-minded people. No matter whether you want to share experiences on sustainability efforts within your organisation or seek advise on your career in sustainability or a sustainability project – our event will help you find and connect with the right people!
